Environmental Sustainability

Introduction

As climate change and environmental degradation threaten the future, TSP focuses on educating and empowering youth to become stewards of the environment. We believe that by instilling a sense of responsibility in the next generation, we can create lasting change.

What We do

Our tree-planting initiatives and partnerships have resulted in the planting of over 10,000 trees across Kenya, particularly in deforested and degraded areas. We also run sustainability workshops in schools, where we teach students about climate change, renewable energy, and conservation practices. Through community clean-ups and waste management training, we engage youth and local communities in hands-on environmental work, emphasizing the importance of reducing plastic use and promoting recycling. Additionally, our Climate Action Program encourages youth to come up with local solutions to environmental issues through innovation and entrepreneurship.

Impact

Our sustainability efforts have led to a 15% reduction in waste in targeted areas, and we’ve trained over 500 youth to become environmental advocates. We’ve collaborated with local governments and organizations to create more green spaces and ensure the survival of indigenous plant species.
