Mental Health Advocacy

Introduction

Mental health is a critical issue that disproportionately affects youth, often leading to challenges such as anxiety, depression, and even suicide. At TSP, we believe in fostering a society where mental well-being is prioritized and stigma is reduced.

What We do

Our Mental Health Advocacy programs offer peer support groups that create safe spaces for young people to share their struggles without judgment. We also provide Mental Health First Aid Training to equip individuals and communities with the tools to recognize and address mental health crises. Additionally, our public awareness campaigns aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health, encouraging open conversations. We partner with certified professionals to offer free or low-cost counseling services and regularly host workshops at schools and community centers to ensure mental health resources are accessible to all.

Impact

Since our inception, we’ve reached over 3,000 youth, providing them with the support and resources needed to manage their mental health. Through our campaigns, we’ve seen an increase in community engagement in mental health discussions, and our peer support groups have reported significant improvements in participants’ well-being. We continue to advocate for more inclusive mental health policies.

How to get involved

You can support by becoming a volunteer counselor, participating in our awareness campaigns, or donating to help us provide more mental health services. Attend one of our workshops or join our peer groups to learn more about managing mental health.
